My story

Hi, I’m Ann Marie Estridge, a Coaching Mentor for Teaching Strategies and a lifelong advocate for early childhood education. My journey began in the classroom, where I spent four wonderful years teaching and piloting The Creative Curriculum in a public school district, including Title 1 and Head Start Programs. Those experiences—watching children grow, seeing teachers light up with new strategies, and collaborating with families—shaped the heart of who I am today.

Moving Forward

Over time, I felt called to broaden my impact. I began my journey as an educational designer because I’ve seen how the way we design learning can either open doors or create barriers. As a teacher and coach, I realized that thoughtful design helps learners feel confident, engaged, and included. Stepping into educational design enables me to combine creativity with purpose, creating resources and experiences that spark curiosity, build skills, and genuinely support growth.

Philosophy of Learning Design and Technology

The core philosophy that drives my work in digital design is that learning should be accessible, meaningful, and inspiring for everyone. I believe design is more than how something looks—it’s how it feels to the learner. My goal is always to remove barriers, create clarity, and spark curiosity. Whether I’m building resources for teachers or guiding professional learning, I want my designs to invite people in, honor their unique needs, and support them in seeing their own potential.
